Online donations
SPARC provides an online payment facility to support its donors to donate through its website. The facility is provided in good faith and SPARC has taken due care to ensure that the facility operatessmoothly. SPARC’s online payment facility is linked to the payment gateway of CC Avenue, a reputed payment gateway service provider and is secured by ______ Securities.
- We request information from the visitor on our donation form. A visitor must provide contact information (such as name, e-mail and mailing address) and payment information (such as credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and for sending receipt of the donation. If we have trouble processing a donation, the information is used by us to contact the visitor. If the visitor has given permission for the informations release, the visitor’s name and contact information may be shared with carefully selected organizations and charities we feel our donors would want to know about. Where requested, we will provide information on larger donations to appropriate charities and donors for tax purposes. Financial and credit card information are NEVER released.
- User information entered during the process is kept secure and confidential and will not be divulged to third parties unless doing so is mandated by applicable local laws.
- The online payment facility supports payments in Indian Rupees in the territory of India as well as foreign currencies.
- SPARC will not be held responsible for any damages the user may suffer as a result of using his payment facility.
- The User agrees to defend, indemnify, save and hold SPARC harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims that may arise or result from any technical failure or incorrect use of the online payment facility.
- You are requested to exercise due diligence and care while making online donations. In case of a duplicate payment, we will not be able to provide any cancellations or refunds for donations that have been completed. You can cancel the donation at any step before making the final payment.
- All the funds that we receive are diligently utilized for the improvement of the lives of women and girls across our implementation regions.
- An email will be sent confirming your donation on the successful completion of the online donation process. Your donation receipt will be sent to you within 30 working days through email. If you need a hard copy of the receipt please write to us at rooh@campaignforrooh.org

Data Retention
- We seek to retain donor-related information only as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy unless a longer retention period is required by law or regulations. For example, tax laws in India may require SPARC to keep the contact information and contribution level of donors on file.
- We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, for example we will keep a record of donations for at least seven years.
- If you request that we stop sending you marketing materials we will keep a record of your contact details and appropriate information to enable us to comply with your request not to be contacted by us.
- Where you contribute material to us, e.g. user generated content or in response to a particular campaign we will generally only keep your content for as long as is reasonably required for the purpose(s) for which it was submitted unless otherwise stated at the point of generation
